The name is an Arabic word (غُدوَة) that refuses to sit still. Ask three speakers what it means and you'll hear three answers: nothing at all, tomorrow, or daybreak, the act of heading out early before the rest of the world is up. Our founder's son made the word part of his family during trips to the deli long before she made it a company. We kept every meaning.

Ghodwa, LLC is the company behind the work of Anna Bullock: operations consulting, a creative atelier, newsletters, a podcast, and ventures still taking shape. Each operates as its own brand with its own name and its own audience. What they share is the house, and the house has one ethos: built with care that compounds. The palette ends in soil for a reason. Everything above grows out of what's underneath.

We're based in Durham, North Carolina, and the roots are not a metaphor we borrowed.
